Dynamic linker for child components | Genode 16.08 with Fiasco.OC

Hello everyone, I am struggling with starting a component as a child from another component. At runtime the following error appears: Error: attempt to start dynamic executable without dynamic linker When I am starting the child component directly from init, it works. Does anyone know where the error could come from or where I need to start searching? Tank you in advance, with best regards, Matthias Fesl

Issues to build Sculpt with Sel4 kernel

I am trying to build Sculpt with Sel4 kernel. sudo make -C build/x86_64 run/sculpt KERNEL=sel4 BOARD=pc I run into error, "Could not allocate block in ext2 filesystem" It seems that I have increased file system size. Where is the place to make that change? Thanks Nanfang

Hi I am a newbie to genode and need help to set up. I have cloned and compiled genode. When I try to run demo by command "make KERNEL=linux run/demo", I had an error, see attached. I have ubuntu 16.04 and IBM Thinkpad 520. Thanks Nanfang

Can QT-based "textedit" run successfully on Rpi 3 B+ ?

I used USB to TTL Serial Cable to see the runtime log : =========================================== ... How to see runtime log on Rpi3 B+

I modified and added some apps on *demo.run* The genode version is https://github.com/tomga/genode/tree/rpi3bplus_19.02 I tried this commands : $ ./tool/create_builddir *rpi3bplus* $ make run/demo KERNEL=hw This case successfully run on Rpi3 B+ But I couldn't see the runtime log like as on x86_64 : ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ... Can I see the runtime log on Rpi3 B+ ? If it can, how to set on putty ? (p.s. I used *USB to TTL Serial Cable*) In putty configuration : serial line : /dev/ttyUSB0 speed : 115200 I also tried speed : 9600 But I still couldn't see runtime log. Maybe I have to refer to *gpio_signal.run* and then modify *demo.run* ? p.s. If I used *raspbian-stretch-lite.img* (*raspberrypi.com <http://raspberrypi.com> *provide it), I can see runtime log. can't run noux_bash on Genode/seL4

This is my first attempt to run Genode over seL4 inside VM. I take latest 19.05 version of Genode as recommended. I followed the instruction and now compile (in vmware vm with ubuntu, 64 bit) and able to run demo both inside vmware and qemu in my MacOS notebook. While I can say that work of demo is pretty unstable, it hangs under any attempt to run from launchpad nitpicker (just freeze mouse, no messages in the stdout log on host). It does not show any other windows except launcher, the only log message are: ... VirualBox + Genode on Muen SK Demo (iso)?

Hello All, Can some one please tell me if there is a demo available to show Virtualbox + Genode on Muen SK as I would really like to see it in action?
