Hello! I'm running netperf TCP_STREAM and TCP_MAERTS tests for lxip stack and i obtained extremely low result - 5x10^6 bits/s while the maximum throughput is 1000 mbit/s . I wonder what could be the reason for that. Anna

Hi >From the article in this link http://genode.org/documentation/articles/trustzone , I understood that the DDR RAM in i.mx53 QSB is partitioned off between normal world and secure world. I just want to read a file in the normal world from application running in the secure side. Is there any possibility to get access to any file in normal world from the secure world? thanks for your help in advance. Regards, Joseph

Adding a Kernel Module in base-hw

Hello everyone, I am stuck at one point because of lack of understanding in Genode, Actually I want to execute some assembly instruction in privileged mode in base-hw kernel from a user script. So I need to know, How will I add a kernel module which will execute assembly instruction and how can I call this module from the user space. And if there is already any such modules exist in Genode that will really help me to understand the flow mechanism, Let me know. Cheers Franc

Write to specific memory address

Hello, I am working with TrustZone using Genode and I am trying to pass data from the secure world to the normal world and vice versa. The problem lies with the fact that the normal world can only access a certain part of the RAM memory the board has to offer so all the data I want to give to the normal world has to be placed somewhere it can access. And I can't seem to figure out how to place data at a specific address using Genode. When I try to use pointers to the wanted memory location, the error "No RM attachment" keeps popping up. This may very well be caused by the fact I am using a pointer to a place that does not yet has a valid data object in it. I believe the correct answer has something to do with the use of dataspaces but am not sure how or what kind of dataspace I need to use for random data I generate myself. Hello, I'm currently exploring arm trustzone with genode, I managed to run the example and run my own normal world linux kernel. Is there a way to chain load normal world operating system, load another u-boot file in the normal world ? is there a technical problem doing so ? Any input no the subject will be very helpful. SD card driver for Freescale i.MX6 in Genode

Dear all, We have developed a Genode device driver for USDHC card reader for Freescale i.MX6 procesor. You may find the corresponding code in the repository, https://github.com/srinivasprv/genode The specific driver code is available in usdhc directory of sd_card directory. We have tested the driver with L4Linux. The test procedure was done by copying and moving files, as large as 1GB, multiple times across different partitions of SD card. The expected behavior and actual behavior matched in all cases. Request you to review the code and offer comments.
