RPC threads on specific cores

Hello I'm trying to port Genode on to pandaboard on Fiasco.OC. In base-foc/config there a list of platform specific kernel, user (panda.kernel and panda.user) files generated. How are those files generated? Also, in certain folders of os/src/drivers/ and os/include/ have platform specific files coded. How are they related/utilised to/in the build process? Dataspaces and sub-region mapping

Hi, I have a server which own as Ram_dataspace and dishes it out to client's by using sub-rm attachments. If I pass back to the client the Dataspace_capability for the sub-rm, am I correct in saying that the client cannot get to the physical address of the mapped region since this is a Dataspace not a Ram_dataspace? This this case I'd need to pass it back explicitly as an extra param. Also, can you clarify the difference between Dataspace and Ram_dataspace and how you can convert (if at all) between the two? DDE on real machines

Hi, Can someone check DDE is still working on a real PC target? I am using fiasco.oc and 64bit but I think the problem is across kernels. Basically my issue is that DHCP is not working and it appears that the rx interrupt is not firing (according to foc jdb). I've tried the latest genode with run/lwip. Daniel

L4 bootstrap console output issue

Hi, I recently changed to using the Fiasco.OC source from Genode. I have just noticed problems with the bootstrap not outputting to the console on certain machines. The h/w is checked as ok, and if we replace bootstrap with r56 version from TU Dresden then everything is ok. Are there some Genode-specific changes to bootstrap on r46? P.S. I didn't notice the problem until I did a full rebuild so I'm not sure when the issue crept in. Daniel
