need help with hello tutorial

I am getting an error in running hello_tutorial There was no config in build/bin as specified in http://genode.org/documentation/developer-resources/client_server_tutorial so i created a new directory config and moved the config in hello_tutorial/config to this new directory When I enter ./core in build/bin I get this error int main(): --- create local services --- int main(): --- start init --- int main(): transferred 17592186044415 MB to init int main(): --- init created, waiting for exit condition --- [init] Could not open file "ld.lib.so" Quota exceeded! amount=4096, size=4096, consumed=4096 [init] upgrading quota donation for SIGNAL session [init] Could not open file "config" [init] Could not obtain config file [init] C++ runtime: Genode::Config::Invalid [init] void* abort(): abort called Please tell me what is wrong

I think there is a mistake in your release notes: http://genode.org/documentation/release-notes/13.05 root /tftpboot/nova config config-00-00-00-00-00-00 Should be... root /nova config config-00-00-00-00-00-00 Unless you have a weird setup with the tftpboot dir as root. Daniel

I came across this brilliant blogpost ( http://allsoftwaresucks.blogspot.in/2013/05/porting-genode-to-commercial-ha…). Stefan said, and I agree, that since Genode already supports OMAP4460, this was achievable. I also read this post: http://genode.org/documentation/articles/pandaboard I understand that porting is a very OS-and-device specific process. But it would be really helpful if there is any form of resource/documentation for porting an OS. Because, learning how to port an OS seems like a good skill to have in your arsenal. issue while running arora

Hi Norman,     I met the same problem with Raja when I run textedit. It seems that Nitpicker wait for client for a long time but no client request the service. I didn't find the code that textedit invoke the connection function to nitpicker service. Is that why the problem happen? l4android can not run rightly on Pandaboard?

hi, I had build an image.elf with the l4android.run in the directory ports-foc/run on genode13.02 . I build with the platform foc_panda. I can see something on "log_term" part and "terminal_log" part,but there are nothing on "android_term " part, l4android can not work rightly and system-ginger.img can not be started on Pandaboard ? hi! i want to implenment the audio system for pandaboard.there are some questions. i find directory /os/src/drivers/audio_out/linux,do i need it? shold i implenment the audio system by using dde method?or should i write audio driver in addition?Maybe the twl6040 driver? do you have some suggestions,please?
