Rpc argument for a binary array?

Hi, Is there a mechanism for passing an array of 8_bit register values in RPC calls when using base-hw? I see the Rpc_in_buffer class but that's designed for string arrays not arbitrary binary value arrays. The use case is for implementing an I2C server which has multiple clients each of which implements a specific device on the I2C bus. I2C supports any length of data transfer but practically I don't see more than a dozen bytes being transferred in one contiguous block. I'm using 14.11. Adding Zynq platform support to base-hw

Hey, I just started adding support for the Zynq SoC to base-hw (see [1]). As I don't have any Zynq hardware available yet, I tried running this on QEMU 2.1.2; I compiled the run/hw_info target. After applying some printf debugging ;), I figured out that the program dies (i.e. QEMU freezes) during kernel initialisation in init_virt_kernel(). I therefore tried attaching gdb to QEMU's internal gdb server, however, it seems to ignore my breakpoints. Hence my question: Do you guys have any experience with low-level/kernel debugging on QEMU? USB Armory - an interesting platform for Genode

Hello, I just was made aware of a crowd-funding campaign for an open hardware platform called USB Armory, which would provide an intriguing playground for Genode: https://www.crowdsupply.com/inverse-path/usb-armory In short, USB Armory is an i.MX53-based computer in the form factor of a USB stick. It is meant for security applications such as VPNs, authentication tokens, and encrypted storage. It is based on the FreeScale i.MX53 SoC, which it is well supported by Genode, i.e., Genode can be used as secure-world OS besides Linux running in the normal world. Personally, I find the project interesting because it strives to be an 100% open platform, which includes hardware, software, and firmware. Hence, at Genode Labs, we already started investigating possible Genode-based applications for it. As of now, the campaign has reached about 55% of the funding goal. Is the Genode AHCI driver supposed to announce service "Block"? I've seen the AHCI test script, but it fails. Is there any scenario in which the driver is known to work?

After VM start, we are getting "*VM tried to access 30008040 which isn't allowed" *error. Also, tried to compile the image by changing this address to 0x10001000 in the file spec_hw_imx6.mk file (for the normal world OS image). Simple test kernel for the non-secure world

Hello, I am trying to test the bare-hw tz_vmm on i.mx6. >From the article about Genode and trustzone, I read the that there is a simple test kernel that was used test the switch from the normal world to secure world.
