make prepare problem in libports / ports

I know this is not the recommended platform, but I don't have any existing 12.04 lying around. Is there any patches possible? If someone can provide some guidelines, I can help with creating the patches. Similarly, for ports, "make prepare" gives: /home/tthtlc/Downloads/genode/repos/ports/ports/gcc.port:19: *** Need to have 'autoconf2.64' installed.. Hello. I am updating old scripts to the latest version of Genode and have problem with make prepare. How do I get the uImage on to the sdcard?

Framebuffer

Hi all, I was trying to understand the flow of framebuffer flow for given imx53 code in the following directory repos/os/src/drivers/framebuffer/imx53/main.cc In the main function, one static variable "session_component" has been created which uses the "config_attribute" function defined in line number 115 which expect a config file in build process. What is the need of this config file with respect to framebuffer and where should i found this config file in the repository because when i run the framebuffer script it is not able to open config file? Deployment of upstream library sources

Hi, we need a way to provide upstream library sources (i.e. the "contrib"-directory) in an environment without internet access. In order to make this task reasonably comfortable, I miss three features in the prepare tool: 1. Similar to "make -C ./build ...", "make prepare -C ./build" will download all upstream sources required by the corresponding build.conf file. 2. "make prepare ... --download-script download.sh" won't download anything, but instead creates a script file which can be transferred to a PC connected to the internet. There you can execute the script in order to download the sources. The download directory can then be transferred into the offline environment. 3. "make prepare ... --unpack [/path/to/download_dir]" unpacks the downloaded upstream libraries to the local contrib directory. What do you think? Is something like this possible? Or do you have any other ideas/suggestions? Regards Roman

Running Linux 3.14 as a Genode VM

Hi, I'm a student at TU Braunschweig and I inherited a Genode project from another student. He used Genode on an i.MX53 Quick Start Board to boot a Linux 2.6.35 kernel (this one: https://github.com/skalk/linux) as a VM with TrustZone support. This works fine. For my task I need a newer kernel, so I'm currently trying to upgrade to kernel 3.14. Since this kernel requires dtbs I modified Genode to load the dtb instead of ATAGs. Now I have two assumptions: Either the serial driver is hanging or it has something to do with the clocks/timer because the highest time passed number I got was 0.016800-ish. I have not yet replayed the TrustZone commits from Stefan Kalkowski for Linux 2.6.35 but because I set all devices as unsecure inside Genode (genode/repos/base-hw/src/core/include/spec/imx53/trustzone/csu.h) this should not be necessary, right?
