Fwd: IOMUX in tz_vmm

Hi all, I am trying to set 0 and 1 bit in Gpr9 register in IOMUX for imx6 but when i am running my example on the board it stops as tz_vmm start at the point of iomux initialization. Iomux implementation present at https://github.com/chiragdthinker/genode/blob/hw_sabrelite_tz_support/repos… and in main at line no 54 and 128 https://github.com/chiragdthinker/genode/blob/hw_sabrelite_tz_support/repos… What could be the reason of this failure.? Hi, I'm working with Genode on zynq hardware together with Johannes. I just tested 'make run/ldso' with try/catch statement commented out. Here's the result: Genode 14.11 int main(): --- create local services --- int main(): --- start init --- int main(): transferred 1020 MB to init int main(): --- init created, waiting for exit condition --- [init -> test-ldso] C++ runtime: Genode::Rm_session::Region_conflict [init -> test-ldso] void* abort(): abort called Regards Mark

ldso problem on zynq

Hi, as previously mentioned, I'm running Genode on Zynq-based hardware...which is progressing quite well by the way ;-) Unfortunately, I got stuck at using the dynamic linker, i.e. 'make run/ldso' fails with the following output: > Genode 14.11-93-ge5ef216 > int main(): --- create local services --- > int main(): --- start init --- > int main(): transferred 1020 MB to init > int main(): --- init created, waiting for exit condition --- > [init -> test-ldso] LD: Failed to load program > [init] virtual void Genode::Child_policy::exit(int): child "test-ldso" exited with exit value -1 As I'm quite unfamiliar with dynamic linking in general, I have no clue what's wrong here. Also, having a quick look at the corresponding lines in the ldso didn't shed much light on this matter. Thus, I'd be very glad to get a few hints from you guys. Hi Stefan, I follow your guideline to get the REV.but when i prepare_port the port file. TrustZone: Access in Normal world

Hi all I am running Genode 15.02 over the I.MX6 board. I tried to run tz_vmm script to run another Genode kernel image in normal world which running successfully. Also, I am able to switch from Normal world to the secure world and vice-versa. Now I want to access some secure resources from the Normal world to see TrustZone enable features. So i write a small application "switch" with the help of IO_mem_connection and mmio class which access the secure RAM region used by the secure world but nothing happens there it is executing normally in Normal world. What kind of behavior is expected from the Normal world on this access? I am using UART-2 in both the world to print the messages. On the other hand, when i make UART-2 secure in csu.h then normal world doesn't execute at all and DATA ABORT exception occurred. I guess, I have to do some thing with CSU(csu.h) and TZASC (tsc_380.h) to see the TrustZone enable expected behavior. Write to specific memory address

Hello, I am working with TrustZone using Genode and I am trying to pass data from the secure world to the normal world and vice versa. The problem lies with the fact that the normal world can only access a certain part of the RAM memory the board has to offer so all the data I want to give to the normal world has to be placed somewhere it can access. And I can't seem to figure out how to place data at a specific address using Genode. When I try to use pointers to the wanted memory location, the error "No RM attachment" keeps popping up. This may very well be caused by the fact I am using a pointer to a place that does not yet has a valid data object in it. I believe the correct answer has something to do with the use of dataspaces but am not sure how or what kind of dataspace I need to use for random data I generate myself.
