Hello, my dear friends.
I am sorry if you receive multiple copies of this message (but I know, most of you will receive copies), but mailing list from uKernel dev room at FOSDEM'13 was destroyed (https://lists.fosdem.org/listinfo).
Time rolls on, a FOSDEM'14 is not too far and now it is good time to submit a "uKernel and component based os" dev room. Who would like to organize dev room in this year? I would be proud to make this, but I heard someone from TUD would like to organize Dev room in this year.

If no one objects, I'll do it. I hope you all have your talks lined up. :-)

Hi,
From the source code, I know the graphical terminal('gems/src/server/terminal') uses a character screen, so I can see some log from the screen.
Howerver I want to get a simple beautiful GUI window system(not like Android which is too big), so I can draw some GUI window, like button, windows and so on. what can i do? Beside, I am using Pandaboard. Can i use some library like Qt?

Qt is availble. Please have a look at the documentation of Genode version 13.08 for more information:

L4/Fiasco does not support the Pandaboard. But you may use Fiasco.OC (base-foc). Simply create a build directory for 'foc_panda' and try out one of the Qt5 run scripts located at 'libports/run/qt5_*'.

FYI, the devroom application has been received by the FOSDEM organizers. Devroom announcements will happen on October 1st.
