I see the update, now I am having trouble with adding vm_fs, shared_fs and the usb device rom from genodelabs to continue testing , maybe I need to create a new sculp.img

I don't think you need to create a new image. I think you need to configure things. A little older explanation about this can be found under [1]. There are also various articles about VM creation at genodians.org .
