thanks for sharing your interests.
I've been always planning to do: a more user-friendly Genode-based distro, maybe by basing off Sculpt OS, maybe by directly building upon the Genode framework.
This seems to fit perfectly with the ambition to make Sculpt OS more modular.
Potential users are sometimes scared away by the Leitzentrale UI of Sculpt OS. A more welcoming alternative - one that is still interoperable with Sculpt and Goa at the package level - could be a real win. Along these lines, the discussion already touched on possible synergies with QubesOS, which already addresses many end-user concerns (like the interactive management of USB devices) in a carefully designed user-friendly way.
