I think there is a mistake in your release notes: http://genode.org/documentation/release-notes/13.05
root /tftpboot/nova config config-00-00-00-00-00-00
Should be...
root /nova config config-00-00-00-00-00-00
Unless you have a weird setup with the tftpboot dir as root.
