Hello, Sorry for the late reply, Yes, I am using an USB stick for launching the os. Yes, not in every hardware Sculpt run, I am still testing it on many computers. (for now only in my HP's elitebook 2540p everything seems to work fine).
Regards,

Hi for everyone!
I am new to Genode os, I've tried it for an once and I found it beautiful, but honestly I still don't know if (and how) I can install it on "my hardware's " pc. (I am currently using Sculpt 20-08)
Can you give us a little more detail on what you've already tried? For instance, you can boot it up on actual hardware using a USB stick, or you can use VirtualBox to run it in a VM.
Not all PC hardware is supported by the current platform driver; so even if the USB stick boots properly, you won't have access to your hard drives if the chipset isn't supported. In this case, as long as you have networking, you still should be able to configure the USB drive to your liking, and keep booting from that.
In VirtualBox, you don't have to worry about hardware support, but you lose the ability to run VirtualBox within Sculpt, which is needed for some of the more complex use cases.
Let us know your progress!
