Dear Sculpt OS users,
today we have updated the official system image for Sculpt OS 21.03, incorporating feedback from users as well as recent performance optimizations.
The mentioned optimizations reduce the boot time to less than 2.5 seconds (from the first life sign of the kernel right up to the GUI), and visibly improve the UI responsiveness.
We also identified and solved quite a few hardware-compatibility issues, thereby enabling Sculpt to run on a broader range of modern machines.
You can find the updated image at the official Sculpt OS download page:
https://genode.org/download/sculpt
Since the updated version in binary compatible with the initial 21.03 release, you can use the image as drop-in-replacement to enjoy the refining touches.
