I'm not sure if I understand you correctly. The network controller in the i.MX6 SoC is the one driven by the fec driver inside linux. This driver was ported to Genode last year and merged into the repo in November 2017. I'm not sure how much work is required to get everything working on the Sabrelite board, but the fec driver is the one you want. Therefore I would again recommend to switch to a newer release of Genode that includes the driver. My personal recommendation would be to always keep close to the latest released version of Genode (which as of now is 18.08), unless the latest version has a bug that you can't fix or work around or has a feature you depend on removed that you neither can carry yourself or implement in another way.

Hi, the NIC driver for the i.MX MCUs (which afaik power the sabrelite) were added in November 2017. So unless you want to backport them to 15.02 you won't be able to use them. Generally I'd advise you to switch to just switch to a newer
release.
