I could boot the uImage you provided to me successfully, see below. Either we have slightly different variants of the same board, or the boot-loader does something fundamentally different, or you have some problem when loading the uImage correctly, so that the image gets corrupted.
Sorry, at the moment I do not have another idea, because I cannot reproduce your problem.
