can't run noux_bash on Genode/seL4

This is my first attempt to run Genode over seL4 inside VM. I take latest 19.05 version of Genode as recommended. I followed the instruction and now compile (in vmware vm with ubuntu, 64 bit) and able to run demo both inside vmware and qemu in my MacOS notebook. While I can say that work of demo is pretty unstable, it hangs under any attempt to run from launchpad nitpicker (just freeze mouse, no messages in the stdout log on host). It does not show any other windows except launcher, the only log message are: ... VirualBox + Genode on Muen SK Demo (iso)?

Hello All, Can some one please tell me if there is a demo available to show Virtualbox + Genode on Muen SK as I would really like to see it in action? Also, I heard there might be a NOVA + Virtualbox version somewhere as well.] Would like to download these to see them before I dig into things more, if possible. Thanks, Lonnie

Greetings All, I have been keeping an eye on Genode and in particular the NOVA Microvisor project for a long time now as I had always thought that it was a very good direction. As Genode has grown, it seems that more advancements are made all of the time which is awesome. Lately, I have turn my attention to Type-1 hypervisors like XCP-ng (Xen) and SmartOS while also digging into Separation Kernels a bit to see what they can offer. On that note, I have briefly started reviewing Muen SK and am trying to see what it can do, but came across the Genode project that is supposed to have Muen SK as the Host with a VirtualBox VMM for the Guest OS's. Can someone please tell me if there is any active work going on in this area as I am very interested in being able to run X86_64 Guests like Windows 7 Pro, Windows 10, and Linux all 64-bit? Dear Sculpt OS users, I am happy to announce the release of Sculpt version 19.07, which incorporates the infrastructural improvements that came with Genode 19.05 [1]. The new tool chain, updated C runtime, and VFS infrastructure contribute visibly to a smoother user experience. Feature-wise, the addition of a clipboard mechanism paves the ground for new use cases and work flows between native components and virtual machines, allowing us to continue our transition from the work within virtual machines towards working in the native Genode environment. vfs and file_system sessions: label too long

Hello Genodians We observed that when using a file system session for the vfs of a component with serveral parent init components with long names, the session connection failed. We believe this is caused by a label that got too long, because after we shortened the names of some components the session connection started working. The problem seemd to arise when the composite label exceedeed about 110 characters. Is there a specific limit on the length of labels? Is there a recommended workaround for that problem in a dynamic deploy environment? rump_fs and fs_rom: changed file notification

Hello Genodians We observed that a file changed on a rump_fs read by an fs_rom does not generate a notification to the client of that ROM session when written/changed. However, if a ram_fs is used instead of a rump_fs the notification is received as evidence by sculpt. Is this behavior expected? Depot How-To Guide?

Hello, Does anyone have a simple step-by-step guide for the initial set-up of a new depot, and publishing a first package to it? I took a first try at this, mainly following "Genode Foundations" (and trying to document my steps, in the hope of writing a beginner's guide for Genodians.org). But I seem to be missing something, because the "publish" tool is giving me an error.
