Hello! I'm running netperf TCP_STREAM and TCP_MAERTS tests for lxip stack and i obtained extremely low result - 5x10^6 bits/s while the maximum throughput is 1000 mbit/s . I wonder what could be the reason for that. Anna

connect to existing RPC server

Hi , In the Genode RPC we start the client and the server in the same time as in Hello world tutorial. in my case i want the server to serve many clients in the same time .if i create run file for each client each time a new server instance (process) will be created . are there any ways to make the second client use the same running server . i tried to run the both client in same run file but it did not work.I am sure that there are some way to get capability from the existing server . thank you in advance . -- *Mohammad *

RPC with LWIP

Hi, i will try explain what i want and what i did and then what i am facing, What i am trying to do : - using only one LWIP (tcp-ip) stack - the communication with lwip will be by using RPC calls. - the system should be multi-threading and serve many process in the same time What I did, - I created the client - server for the RPC which invoke the lwip methods. What I am Facing: - when i tried to run more then one echo server ( in different port) ,the lwip is not working will and what i found that when the tow echo server try to accept connection the first one will block the other. and it means that lwip is not multi threading any more. TrustZone on i.MX53 QSB

Hi everyone, I have two questions during testing the tz_vmm on i.MX53 QSB. 1. I want to set up the TrustZone environment like switching between SW and NW on Android in NW on top of Genode in SW, but don't know what I should do exactly. Do you have any manual or advice for this? Which part should I look into? 2. How can I test switching the two worlds on the tz_vmm? Any help appreciated. Thank you! Regards, Daeyoung

On July 29th of this year the seL4 is going to become free software. Is Genode going to support or it's already supporting this uKernel ???

Genode demo-cd and virtualbox

Because I didn't see any reference to VirtualBox but just for qEmu I would like to report the great success running the demo-cd under VB version 4.3.12 r93733 without any special configuration. The network driver and sound system is working perfectly. It's interesting also to report that I configured the virtual machine as type=other and version=L4. The version=L4 is not a must but it's remarkable to see that they are aware that the future is not Windows and Linux.
