Of course you can do so, however there is still the USB host controller
driver lacking for this SoC, which you'll need when using keyboard and
mouse. Moreover, VGA can be used, but in the current framebuffer driver
implementation of the Quickstart board it is assumed (hardcoded) that a
LVDS is attached, not VGA. So you'll have to put some effort into this
driver too.

You won't gain any advantage by integrating a PS2 driver into this
scenario. AFAIK there is no PS2 connector on the Quickstart board nor
corresponding device inside the SoC. Again, you'll need an USB driver
and will have to use USB input then.
