related to the recent discussions about improving the ease of use of the
framework, I'd like to point you to a current discussion about changing
the structure of the source tree and the management of 3rd-party code:

opinions, and suggestions.

Personally, I am particularly interested in your individual notion of
"ease of use". (that I wish to accommodate as far as possible)
