The NIC driver for Genode/Linux uses the Linux TAP device for
networking. The lines above inform you that the configuration did not
succeed. In most cases, this happens if the tap0 device was not setup
correctly. Please have a look at

There, the setup process for Arora with networking is described in
detail. The described scenario uses your Linux host in bridging mode.
