u-boot files - device specific?

I'm not familiar with i.MX6. If your u-boot supported loading files
from sd-card
( commands fatload mmc or ext2load mmc), you can copy uImage to sd-card
fat/ext2 partition and modify bootcmd via serial console in u-boot. Or you
can use booting via tftp.
