Hi Reza,

With the regular stream of incredible new things that are added to Genode it is easy to forget that it is a very small team in comparison to Android, Linux, Windows etc.
I would believe that there are a grate number features with higher priority that would cater more to the intended use cases of genode.

The only way I can see Ansible/SaltStack being ported in the next few years is if a dedicated and motivated user (perhaps yourself) take on this task or a customer with a specific business need would pay for this development.

I might of course be wrong as I'm not part of the genode team but personally I would much rather see any of the milestones [1] being completed.

I hope I didn't come out sounding too negative, just my 2 cents.

Cheers
/Daniel

Thanks Martin.

Knowing that Genode is targetting mobile devices (aarch64 ec.) and it's perfect for IOT devices, I think it's really important to invest in a system like Ansible/SaltStack that can bootstrap many nodes of Genode. Thoughts?

Cheers,
Reza

Hi Reza,

I heard of neither of the two in the context of Genode so far.

Cheers,
